Blackchrome received approval from the RSL and the Australian Government to manufacture football guernseys that feature the word ANZAC.
Permission for this must be obtained as there are regulations which preserve the significance of the word ANZAC and the special place it has in Australia’s heritage.
The two teams squared off for the RSL Cup on April 22, 2017 at Jack Barker Oval. It was an arm wrestle of a match, but eventually Cheltenham claimed victory, the final score being 82 – 57. You can read a full review of the game here.
